ABOUT GEORGIA BERRY
What is your background in design?
I graduated Cum Laude from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design and a minor in Art. Before college, I attended Hammond School, where I first discovered my passion for design as the yearbook editor and one of the lead campus photographers.
What do you do outside of design?
If you checked out my portfolio earlier, you might have noticed that I’m also a “musician.” Until recently (June 2025), I had a song available on streaming platforms—but my friends were the first to point out that it had been taken down (forgot to renew some stuff whoops).
That said, I still genuinely love writing, singing, and playing music—usually on the piano or ukulele.
Outside of music, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, watching TV and movies, hitting the beach (especially Isle of Palms, SC), swimming, getting outdoors, self care, traveling, and more.
Why Freelance?
I graduated in May 2025, and while I was eager to jump straight into the workforce, the job market proved to be incredibly challenging and discouraging. So, I thought—why limit my time and talents working for someone else when I can invest in myself and be my own boss? It’s definitely a bold move, but it’s one I’m passionate about and excited to pursue.
Why Social Media Content?
When I joined Express My Media, everything kind of clicked. It gave me a deeper look into the world of social media beyond just design, and I quickly found myself wanting to learn more. The more I explored, the more I realized how fun, fast-paced, and engaging content creation really is—and I was hooked.
Why should I trust you with my project?
Great question! I’m a graphic designer who just recently graduated, and I genuinely can’t see myself doing anything else. This work is not only fulfilling—it’s fun for me. I’m constantly looking forward to each project I take on.
More importantly, I’ll make sure your project meets every expectation. I only take on work I feel passionate about, which means I’ll pour my full energy and creativity into bringing your vision to life. It’s truly an honor when someone trusts me with something so meaningful.
