ABOUT GEORGIA BERRY
What is your background in design?
I graduated Cum Laude from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design and a minor in Art. Before college, I attended Hammond School, where I first discovered my passion for design as the yearbook editor and one of the lead campus photographers.
What do you do outside of design?
If you checked out my portfolio earlier, you might have noticed that I’m also a “musician.” Until recently (June 2025), I had a song available on streaming platforms—but my friends were the first to point out that it had been taken down (forgot to renew some stuff whoops).
That said, I still genuinely love writing, singing, and playing music—usually on the piano or ukulele.
Outside of music, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, watching TV and movies, hitting the beach (especially Isle of Palms, SC), swimming, getting outdoors, self care, traveling, and more.
Why Freelance?
I graduated in May 2025, and while I was eager to jump straight into the workforce, the job market proved to be incredibly challenging and discouraging. So, I thought—why limit my time and talents working for someone else when I can invest in myself and be my own boss? It’s definitely a bold move, but it’s one I’m passionate about and excited to pursue.

Since this is a brand-new freelance business, I’m offering more flexible pricing from July through September to account for the natural learning curve and growing process. That said, we’ll go over all pricing and payment details before I begin your design—no surprises! And don’t worry, you won’t pay anything until you receive the final design.
Why should I trust you with my project?
Great question! I’m a graphic designer who just recently graduated, and I genuinely can’t see myself doing anything else. This work is not only fulfilling—it’s fun for me. I’m constantly looking forward to each project I take on.
More importantly, I’ll make sure your project meets every expectation. I only take on work I feel passionate about, which means I’ll pour my full energy and creativity into bringing your vision to life. It’s truly an honor when someone trusts me with something so meaningful.
I could give you a long list of reasons why I’d be a great fit, but I’ll keep it simple: I’m organized, a strong communicator, and I care. I never want you to feel left in the dark—so if you ever have questions or need updates, don’t hesitate to shoot me a message. I’ll always be happy to chat.
Illustrations
I love illustrating—it's one of my favorite aspects of design!
So how does that help you? I can create unique, eye-catching artwork for things like stickers, hats, koozies, t-shirts, and more.
That said, my role focuses on the creative side—so while I’ll provide polished mockups of your design, I don’t handle the production process myself.

Web/Mobile Creations
In addition to illustrating, I’ve discovered a real passion for designing websites and apps. Interestingly, this love for mobile and web design didn’t start in college—it actually began during COVID-19, when I got bored and decided to create a website for my mom and her students to help them communicate more easily.
I'm familiar with a variety of platforms, so if you're looking for someone to design a site that you can easily manage and update, I’ve worked with Wix, Adobe XD, Squarespace, and Adobe Portfolio.

Branding/Rebranding
Not only have I created multiple brands from the ground up, but I’ve also had the opportunity to rebrand existing ones—and I love rebranding projects! I'm excited to take on even more work in this area of design.
