PROPOSALS & ENGAGEMENTS

Photographing Will and Adrienne’s proposal was one of the most meaningful shoots I have had the opportunity to be a part of. They are two of my best friends, and Will had been planning the proposal with my partner, Walker, which made being trusted to capture such an important moment even more special. From keeping the plan a secret from Adrienne to being there when Will finally got down on one knee, getting to experience the night from behind the camera is something I will always remember.

This was also my first experience photographing a proposal, which gave me the opportunity to step into a completely new area of photography and learn how to capture a moment that only happens once. There is something so special about documenting the genuine reactions, emotions, and little details that come with a proposal, especially knowing these photographs will become part of a story they will tell for years to come. Being able to combine growing my photography experience with creating something so meaningful for two of my closest friends made this shoot incredibly special to me.
